Terms of payment

Full payment is required before delivery on supply only 50% deposit is required on goods, materials and fitting, and the balance to be paid to the fitter on completion.

Quotations an Estimates

Pier Carpets & Flooring accepts no liability for any errors arising from the client’s failure to provide full and precise instructions.
A 30% Handling charge will be applied to any orders changed or cancelled after the goods are in our possession.

Customer Requirements

Room preparation

It is the customer’s responsibility to clear all areas to be floored of furniture prior to work being carried out, unless otherwise agreed in the quotation. If our fitters are required to move furniture and fittings, this is undertaken at the customers own risk and Pier Carpets & Flooring will not accept liability for any damage.
Existing floor covering can be lifted and removed by us at an additional cost unless previously agreed in the quotation.

Kitchen Appliances

It is the customer's responsibility to disconnect and take out all appliances i.e. cooker, washing machines, dishwasher etc. and reconnect them.

Pipes and Cables

Pier Carpets & Flooring cannot be held responsible for damage to pipes or cables which are hidden from view, unless notified beforehand.

Delivery/Fitting Times

All delivery/fitting dates are an estimation. Pier Carpets & Flooring will make every effort to deliver on given dates and times. No claims for consequential loss will be considered in respect of missed dates.

Acceptance

When ordered goods have been delivered, this is deemed an acceptance of our terms and conditions
Pier Carpets & Flooring fitters hold relevant employer and public liability insurance and will make every effort to deliver a professional service with skill and care

This Agreement (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

In no event will Pier Carpets & Flooring be liable to you for any lost profits, lost savings or incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages, arising out of your use or inability to use the product/services or the breach of this agreement, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
